ISWAP claims responsibility for Kuje Prison attack
The Islamic State in West Africa Province (ISWAP) has claimed responsibility for the July 5 attack on Kuje Prison in Abuja.
The terrorist showed some of its men shooting their way into the facility in a video posted online on Wednesday evening.
In the 38-second video, tens of fighters can be seen marching in groups while vehicles and buildings burn.
An elderly man dressed in native garb joined the young men shouting at the top of their lungs.
The video was released by the Islamic State’s A’maq Agency with the caption: “Fighters of the Islamic State attacked Kuje prison in Abuja yesterday and succeeded in freeing dozens of prisoners.”
