Sterling set to complete £55m Chelsea switch from City
Manchester City star, Raheem Sterling has agreed to personal terms with Chelsea after officially stating his desire to leave Manchester City.
Motherland Posts understands that during talks with his lawyer, the England international finalized the terms of a contract with Chelsea.
Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel reportedly held positive talks with the 27-year-old England star before making the move.
Sterling is set to become Chelsea’s first marquee signing under new ownership, led by chairman Todd Boehly, with the two clubs negotiating a fee.
Chelsea is expected to meet the valuation, which is thought to be around £55 million for a player in the final year of a £300,000-per-week contract.
Sterling will earn around £315,000 per week at Chelsea, where he will sign a long-term deal.
The winger, who joined Manchester City from Liverpool in 2015, won five domestic cup competitions during his time at the club.
